9.23.0 Platform Release Details

Release 9.23.0 includes the launch of the User Management Page, New Privacy Content, and other small UX enhancements.  

NEW! User Management Page and Enhanced User Roles

The new User Management page and updated roles aim to provide Account Administrators with the tools needed to effectively build out their account, and the visibility necessary to understand and appropriately assign roles to users within their organization. These enhancements should improve the speed in which they can accomplish their objectives.

User Roles

Each role provides users with control over different areas of the Platform, Portfolio Management, Ordering, and Assessment Lifecycle workflow. Each role also subscribes assigned users with relevant on- and off-platform notifications.An easy to use modal lists each available role, describes the specific permissions and notifications associated, and allows Admins to quickly create and edit users' assignments. Admins can also deactivate users. Once deactivated, those user accounts can be deleted from the account. 

User Management Page

The new User Management page displays three sections: Your Profile, Manage Users and Pending Users. “Your Profile” section displays first-person information about the user. The “Manage Users” section displays other users within the company, if they are active or inactive and their individual roles and permissions. The “Pending Users” displays users have been invited, but have not yet registered. 

NEW! Privacy Controls Content

Privacy controls content replaces the GDPR section (Group 5) of the assessment. The expansion of privacy content aims to help CyberGRX customers meet third-party regulatory requirements that apply when data is shared with their third parties. This new content in the assessment is based on privacy as a principle and covers industry frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, APP, and NIST.  

Assessment Content Changes:  

• A new section named PRI is added to the assessment (all tiers) and is now a REQUIRED section 
• GDPR section is removed
• Maturity and coverage scoring on PRI family responses   
• 4 new PRI sub controls + Metrics (20 questions for T1) that cover: 
  • Privacy Data Identification 
  • Privacy Governance Program 
  • Privacy Data Control 
  • Privacy Transparency 

 

• The Summary PDF report will now contain a scoring on PRI section
